Alan Farquhar Chaplain, SOG Logistics Officer BPSO, has been instrumental in obtaing VBC aerospace designed shields in the Beauagard Parris Sheriff's office.  The Sheriff has now deployed several AS-3A "Active Shooter" NIJ Level IIIA ballikstic shield.   VBC

The Arsenal is a garrison for a number of tenants including the United States Army Materiel Command, Army's Aviation and Missile Command, the Missile Defense Agency of the Department of Defense, and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.  The AS-3 "Active Shooter" aerospace designed ballistics shields is an NIJ Level III shield, capable of stopping multiple AK-47 hits.  The AS-3 is extremely light weight, rugged and is easily manuverable.  VBC

All VBC View Ports are all one piece solid glass. Condensation will only effect the inside and outside surface.   Thought and care should be given to all shields with view ports where extreme swings in temperature and humidity occur.  Remember only glass cleaner should be used to clean view port glass.  Take care to cover the view port when using W-D 40, or similar lubricants when conducting preventative maintenance on your shield.  Using BLUE Painter tape to cover the view port when using WD-40 is also a good idea.  VBC
